For the purposes of this Privacy Policy, “PetYalla,” “we,” “us,” and “our” refer to the entity operating the PetYalla platform. “You” and “your” refer to any individual who accesses or uses the Platform, whether as a Pet Parent, Provider, visitor, or in any other capacity.

3.1 Information You Provide Directly

When you create an account, book a service, register as a provider, or contact us, you may provide:

  • Account Information: Full name, email address, phone number, password, and profile photo.
  • Pet Information: Pet name, species, breed, age, weight, gender, medical history, vaccination records, allergies, behavioral notes, and photos.
  • Provider Information (for service providers): Professional qualifications, certifications, government-issued identification, business registration details, bank or payment account information, and service area preferences.
  • Booking and Transaction Data: Service type, date and time of appointments, provider selected, service location (home address or clinic), payment method, transaction amounts, and invoices.
  • Communications: Messages exchanged through our in-app chat feature between Pet Parents and Providers, support tickets, feedback, and reviews.

3.2 Information Collected Automatically

When you use the Platform, certain data is collected automatically through your device and browser:

  • Device Information: Device type, operating system, unique device identifiers, browser type, and app version.
  • Usage Data: Pages visited, features used, session duration, clicks, taps, scrolls, and navigation patterns.
  • Location Data: With your permission, we may collect precise or approximate geolocation data to provide location-based services such as nearby provider searches, real-time walk tracking, and service delivery coordination.

4.2 To Ensure Safety, Trust, and Platform Integrity

  • Verifying the identity and credentials of service providers.
  • Conducting background checks where applicable and legally permitted.
  • Detecting and preventing fraud, abuse, and unauthorized access.
  • Monitoring service quality through reviews, ratings, and feedback analysis.

5.1 With Service Providers (on the Platform)

When you book a service, certain information is shared with the assigned Provider to fulfill your booking — such as your name, pet details, service location, and appointment time. Similarly, Provider profiles (name, qualifications, ratings, availability) are visible to Pet Parents.

5.2 With Third-Party Service Partners

We work with trusted third-party partners who help us operate the Platform, including:

  • Payment Processors (for secure transaction handling).
  • Cloud Hosting Providers (for data storage and platform infrastructure).
  • Analytics Providers (for anonymized usage insights).
  • Identity Verification Services (for Provider credential checks).
  • Communication Tools (for notifications, SMS, and email delivery).

These partners are contractually obligated to handle your data securely and only for the purposes we specify. They are not permitted to use your information for their own marketing or unrelated purposes.
